History
1941
Albert Burkhardt founded Bubu by taking over the bookbinding workshop of C. Fischer in Zurich. From the very beginning, the motto "Ja, das chömer scho mache, mir mached alles!" has been part of the company culture.
1985
Relocation from Zurich to Mönchaltorf. This move marks Bubu AG’s transformation from a craft business into an industrial enterprise.
2004
Under the Bookfactory brand, Bubu started producing photo books, becoming a pioneer in the Swiss photo book market.
2018
Bookfactory expanded its e-commerce activities, introducing innovative online solutions to make creating and ordering personalized photo products even easier.
