Already in mid-July we had the pleasure of an interview with Robert Bösch, one of the most famous mountain and landscape photographers (click here for the interview) Back then he told us that his new illustrated book "No Man's Land" will be published in autumn. Now the time has come. We give you an insight into his latest illustrated book:
Photography accompanied Robert Bösch throughout his life - just like mountain climbing. Sometimes the two fields overlapped, but often they had nothing to do with each other. As an alpinist he traveled all continents and climbed many mountains of the world, including Mount Everest.
But as a photographer he was interested in everything - preferably new, unseen things. He is interested in the picture - whether it is a desert or a modern city. In recent years, art photography has become the focus of his photographic work. He describes himself as an image seeker. He could not imagine a life without a camera.
"No Man's Land" shows pictures that Robert Bösch has seen as a world traveller and as a home-stayer. Photographs of deserts, cities, oceans, bullfighters, birds and elephants - pictures were taken while he was traveling on this planet with his camera.
For our Bookfactory customers, the new book by Robert Bösch is available until November 30, 2020 at the special price of CHF 100 instead of CHF 130.
